Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, IVM, Innoson Group, Dr Innocent Chukwuma, Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Innoson Motors, Innocent Chukwuma, yesterday  told members of the Senate Committee on Anti-corruption, how his family members were reportedly maltreated by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, when they arrested him last December.

THE Senate yesterday, took a swipe at the management of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over the arrest of the Managing Director of Innoson Motors Limited, Innocent Chukwuma last year December, saying that the anti- graft body must be more cautious in its operations, especially on matters that are largely civil and not criminal in nature

Innocent Chukwuma, Chairman, Innoson Motors Nigeria Limited, on Wednesday failed to make an appearance at an Ikeja High Court for his arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on charges of fraud and stealing.
