THE slow pace in the resuscitation of the long-abandoned Ikere George Dam project, located in Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State, was said to have responsible for the loss of over five billion naira (N5 billion) annually, as critical potentials of the dam like power generation, potable water distribution, fish and aquatic resources and farming have been left to waste away.
