Nnewi is unarguably the industrial capital of Anambra State. Apart from having many industries and companies, which marked out the town as the Japan of Africa, it also has a very big market which has several sub sections. The market is the second largest in the state after Onitsha main market. Nnewi people are noted for natural intelligence, industry and enterprise, a situation which has led to indigenes of the town blazing the trail in many fields.
