Security agencies and other teams deployed to the scene of the Tuesday night explosion in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, have begun rescue operations.

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA South West Zonal Office, in a situation report on the explosion at Adeyi Estate in Bodija Ibadan, Oyo State, said the explosion was caused by Improved Explosive Devices (IEDs).
