Haulage: Senate mandates committee to investigate compliance to road safety laws

The Senate on Tuesday mandated its committee on Federal Character and Inter-Governmental Affairs to investigate the level of compliance to road safety legislation among haulage operators, owners and drivers. The upper chamber also mandated the committee to investigate adoption and implementation of the recommendations from the 2018 haulage operators stakeholders’ summit among all relevant stakeholders.

Haulage companies sue firm over non-payment for services rendered

Three haulage services companies, Kobbs Global Services Nigeria Limited, BJA Global Solutions Limited and Minmax Universal Concept Limited, have filed three different suits against Murphy Express Logistics Limited before a Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, claiming various sums of money as payment for services rendered for which they have not been paid.
