Greenfield University: Killing of students is sheer wickedness — Gov El-Rufai
Nasir el-Rufai, Kaduna state Governor described the killing of the students as sheer wickedness, inhumanity and an outright desecration of human lives by vile entities. The governor said the bandits represent the worst of humankind and must be fought at all cost for the violent wickedness they represent. Evil would not triumph over God-given humanity. He further appealed to citizens to come together against the forces of darkness challenging the very existence of the Nigerian State.

On August 8, 2014, El-Rufai, then a chieftain of the opposition Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, led a group of supporters to the home of leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, Shiek Ibrahim Zakzaky, in Gyellesu, Zarina. His mission was to commiserate with the leader of the Shiite whose revulsion for Saudi Arabia, Israel and the US on matters relating to Palestine and Iran had become one of his trademarks.
