Gov. Abubakar Bello of Niger has directed stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to return to their wards and local government areas to participate for the party’s primaries.

Gov. Abubakar Bello of Niger says he has no anointed candidate for the 2019 general elections, while the state opted for direct primaries in the best interest of stakeholders.

Gov. Abubakar Bello of Niger on Sunday said the adoption of direct primaries in the state was in line with the decision of the national headquarters to select candidates for the 2019 general elections.

Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi on Wednesday assured contesting aspirants to various elective positions on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that he would not anoint candidates for the primary elections.

Minna- Following continuous collapse of bridges and roads in Niger State and the huge amount involved to repair them, the state governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello has appealed to the Federal Government to hasten up its intervention on the roads in order to ease the hardship being experienced by commuters.
