Beloved, it is not out of place for believers to come under the attack of the enemies in the form of sick-nesses, disappoint-ment, delay in concept-ion, miscarriages, barren-ness, physical assault and etc but these must not be construed as abandonment on the part of our God as long as the believer is living in accord-ance with tenet of the Scripture.

Waiting for God II

On the cross of Calvary, Jesus cried the cry of David, saying: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). By this cry, God became our brother in adversity. Man in Christ cried out to God in frustration and disappointment. God in Christ became our advocate, validating the gospel truth that in our affliction, God is afflicted. (Isaiah 63:9).
