Falana, parents lampoon federal, Lagos govts over school fees hike
HUMAN Rights lawyer, Mr Femi Falana, SAN, and a parents' forum, yesterday, kicked against the recent increment in school fees by the Federal and Lagos State governments, describing it as illegal.

Falana said, “It (cutting of entourage) is realistic and if possible the government can go further to reduce the number from 60 to 40 per cent or there about having regards to the state of the economy. But there are areas to address where we are wasting a lot of resources.”

Meanwhile, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) described calls for state police as diversionary, saying “there are fears that such (creation of state police) will be misused as a tool for political fights if created.”
