SERAP petitions ICC over recent election-related violence in Nigeria
Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, has petitioned the International Criminal Court (ICC) on the need to investigate promptly the growing cases of pre-election violence, which if not addressed may escalate and lead to post-election violence in the country ahead of the 2023 general polls.
SERAP made the call in a petition by it’s Deputy Director, Kolawole Oluwadare, dated February 11, 2023 and sent to Mr Karim Khan, QC, Prosecutor, ICC.
