Nigeria’s senior men’s basketball team, the D’Tigers open their 2019 World  Cup qualifiers today in Bamako, Mali with a game against Uganda with 2017 Afrobasket MVP, Ike Diogu as the team’s pivot.

D’Tigers, the senior men national basketball team, continue their preparation ahead of the XXI Commonwealth Games slated for Gold Coast in Australia with all invited players now in camp.

After their silver medal exploit at the just concluded 2017 Afrobasket tournament, D’Tigers will return home in the early hours of today aboard a Royal Air Maroc flight with the exception of team captain, Ike Diogu who will head for United State of America due to family commitments.
