NPA, CRFFN, NAGAFF rub minds on industry challenges

THE Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, has engaged the maritime industry’s key stakeholders and leaders in the reappraisal of some key challenges facing operators in the industry. The stakeholder groups comprising the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria, CRFFN, and the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, NAGAFF, had headed to the NPA to raise issues of concern with the Authority.

CRFFN, Customs at cross purposes over foreign dominance of freight forwarding business

WHILE the freight   forwarders in the   country are groaning over foreign domination, but the Council for the Regulation of Freight forwarding in Nigeria, CRFFN, the body established to regulate and protect the practitioners and the Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, that licenses Customs Brokers in the country, have disagreed over who is responsible for the foreign dominance.
