A delegate who represented Delta State during the 2014 National Conference and former Chief of Staff to the Delta State Government, Prof. Godini Darah has said the President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime would be hunted if he ignores the recommendations by the Confab.

President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, advanced reasons his administration opted to convoke the National Conference this year, citing national unity, peace and progress as some of the compelling factors.

Jonathan, who inaugurated the 492-member conference at about 5 p.m at the premises of the National Judicial Institute in Abuja, said the challenges staring the nation in the face and the need to move the nation forward also informed the convocation of the dialogue.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Monday said it had deployed emergency ambulances to the venue of the National Conference in Abuja.

The secretariat of the National Conference has asked delegates to the conference to arrive the venue of the conference by 10a.m. on Monday for accreditation.
