In line with President Mohammadu Buhari renewed drive to transform the Niger Delta and restore enduring peace, the Coordinator, Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Prof. Charles Dokubo, has presented amnesty entrepreneurs starter packs to 150 Trained Ex-Militant Youths in Bayelsa State, assuring that the Amnesty programme will be reviewed to refocus on its mandate and programmes in order to produce the desired results.

A group of Niger Delta youths under the aegis of Niger Delta Youth Council, has solicited support of people from the area for the the Coordinator of Presidential Amnesty Programme, PDP, Professor Charles Dokubo.

Niger Delta Leaders, Elders and Stakeholders Forum, NDLESF, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has frowned at the avalanche of frivolous petitions against the new Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, Prof Charles Dokubo, urging detractors to allow him to perform his duties.

Special Adviser to the President and Coordinator, Presidential Amnesty Programme, Prof. Charles Dokubo, yesterday, assured of prompt payment of monthly stipends and provision of other welfare packages for ex-Niger Delta agitators and their leaders. He said this was vital for sustenance of the prevailing peace and security in the region to enhance development.
