While the worldwide covid-19 pandemic undoubtedly caused economic roadblocks to fledgling companies, new statistics from a recent study by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) have revealed that female entrepreneurs are well on their way to success in comparison to years before, with women-led enterprises reporting a 12.5 percent uptick in employee count in 2021 compared to 2019.
