Investors in the capital market have continued to show strong appetite for the federal government Bond as they oversubscribed the first auction conducted by the Debt Management Office (DMO) in the year.

INVESTORS appetite for the newly introduced Federal Government of Nigeria, FGN, Savings Bond (FGN-SB or Savings Bond) has eroded by 88 percent as at November, 2017. But the Debt Management Office (DMO), the issuers of the bond, and market analysts are divided over the performance. 

LAGOS—THE Lagos State Government, yesterday, said it had paid the total sum of N141.59 billion to bond holders in its various fixed rate bond programmes.

ABUJA—The Federal Government has released the proceeds of the N100 billion Sukuk bond to 25 key economic road projects of the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing across the country.
