Tension brews between Binis and Ijaws
The prevailing tension in Ijaw communities in Edo state is heightening each day and the war songs between the Binis and the Ijaws have continued to increase. The crisis over the ownership of Ijaw occupied lands became visible after Governor Godwin Obaseki decided to build a multi billion dollars Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Gelegele, Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo state.
