Stop spreading misinformation against Oyetola – Osun youths warn

Youths in Iragbiji, headquarters of Boripe Local Government Area of Osun state have warned against spreading of fake information about the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, expressing undiluted support for the Minister.

The youths under the aegis of Iragbiji Youths Association berated the move by some unscrupulous persons to sow the seed of discord between youths in the community and the Minister, saying the former Osun State Governor had always worked for the development of the town and prioritising youths’ development.

In a statement issued by the association’s President and Public Relations Officer, Adekunle Oyediran and Adesina Babatunde respectively, it pledged its unreserved support for the leadership of the Minister to propel the community and its indigenes to prosperity.

It reads partly, “We appeal to all Iragbiji youths to remain calm and resilient, standing firm against any attempt by detractors to sow seeds of discord. Let us not be swayed by misinformation, for Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola is a man with a heart of gold, deeply invested in the well-being of our community”.

“The Iragbiji Youths Association gathers to express our unwavering support and confidence in the leadership of Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola. We urge all members to remain calm and steadfast in their support for a man whose contributions to our community have been significant and impactful.

“During his tenure as Governor, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola demonstrated his commitment to our people by ensuring the inclusion of Iragbiji indigenes in his cabinets and as aides in various agencies. The rehabilitation of township roads within our community stands as a testament to his dedication to our infrastructure development.

“Furthermore, we applaud his efforts in facilitating SDGs projects for Iragbiji land, showcasing his commitment to sustainable development. Notably, the appointments and projects reflect his vision for an inclusive and prosperous Iragbiji.

“In his current role as the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola has continued to prioritize the welfare of Iragbiji youths. Over 20 youths have secured employment opportunities in Nimasa, NPA, and Nigeria Shippers Council under his leadership, and we are confident that he will continue to create more avenues for our youths to thrive”.
