De-freezing order: SERAP to Fayose: Stop wilful abuse of court process, go on appeal

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has accused Governor Ayodele Fayose of “forum shopping and a wilful and brazen abuse of court process by obtaining a de-freezing order from the Federal High Court, Ado Ekiti, a court of coordinate jurisdiction with the Federal High Court, Lagos, instead of going on appeal before a higher court in the hierarchy of courts.”

Day Ikoyi club honoured King Sunny Ade

In what seems to be an endless celebration of a life well spent, Ikoyi Club 1938 hosted King Sunny Ade last Friday at an all-night event organized to celebrate the Juju Maestro. The event, which was put together to celebrate the legendary musician at 70 had in attendance the King of music himself, King Sunny Ade, the Club Chairman, Major General Mufutau Balogun (Rtd.), the Vice Chairman of the Club, Mr. Olusola Adeosun, the Honorary Secretary, Mr. Tokunbo Ogundipe, other members of the General Committee, Past Committee members and the other esteemed members of the Club.
