ABUJA – The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is in mourning following the passing of the revered spiritual leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye.
The 103-year-old prophet, who left an indelible legacy of faith and service, died on Sunday.
Archbishop Daniel Okoh, the President of CAN, said in a statement on Monday, “Prophet Abidoye’s spiritual insights and unwavering dedication impacted millions of lives, offering hope and transformation.
“His integrity, humility, and compassion were exemplary, earning him the respect of believers across the nation.”
The prophet’s death has sent ripples through the Christian community, with tributes pouring in from across the country.
CAN extended its heartfelt condolences to his family, the church community, and all those affected by his ministry.
“As we honour his memory, let us continue his legacy by promoting unity, love, and peace among Christians and adherents of all faiths,” Archbishop Okoh stated, highlighting the impact of Prophet Abidoye’s teachings.
Reflecting on Prophet Abidoye’s life, Archbishop Okoh hailed his enduring legacy and the significant contributions he made during his time as the spiritual leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide.
“His teachings and commitment to righteousness will forever inspire us. May his soul find eternal rest in the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father,” he concluded.
