‘A personal loss’ — Ondo APC Chair mourns Akeredolu’s death

The ruling All Progressive Congress in Ondo state, has mourned the death of the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.

A statement issued and signed by the state chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin described the governor’s death as a personal loss to him.

Adetimehin said on the statement that
“The death of our dear Governor, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN means different things to different people. To mean, it is a personal loss.

“He was a man of principle to the core, and a dogged fighter, who would fight for whatever he believed, even if it means standing alone.

“Akeredolu was committed, without reservation, to the security and development of Ondo State. He was ready to secure the state, even at the expense of his own political career.

“The sincerity of Arakurin to the transformation of the State is apparent in the three senatorial districts of Ondo State.

“Akeredolu was a leader like no other. God knows I loved and respected him beyond words, and I will always do.
