Spotlight PR wins PR Brand of the Year at 2026 Eko Heritage Awards

LAGOS — Spotlight PR has been named PR Brand of the Year at the 2026 Eko Heritage Awards, in recognition of its contributions to public relations and strategic communications.

The award was presented at the 6th edition of the Eko Heritage Awards held on Saturday at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, where individuals, businesses and organisations were honoured for their contributions to innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership and national development.

Organised by Ivory Forte Entertainment, the Eko Heritage Awards celebrates excellence across various sectors while promoting Lagos State’s cultural heritage. This year’s edition was held under the theme, “From Adversity to Stardom.”

Speaking after receiving the award, the Chief Executive Officer of Spotlight PR, Mr. Prince, described the recognition as an encouragement to continue delivering quality public relations services to clients across the world.

“We are deeply honoured by this recognition. Since launching Spotlight PR in 2020, our mission has remained simple: to help brands, businesses and individuals gain the visibility they deserve while easing the challenges of building a strong public image,” he said.

He added that the award would inspire the company to continue raising professional standards in public relations across Africa.

According to him, Spotlight PR has served more than 1,000 clients in over 20 countries across Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia.

“This is only the beginning. We are looking forward to introducing more innovative initiatives that will help businesses, founders, professionals and organisations strengthen their visibility and become recognised authorities in their respective industries,” he said.

Founded in Abuja in 2020, Spotlight PR has grown into an international public relations agency providing media relations, corporate communications, executive branding, reputation management, digital public relations and global press distribution services.

The company works with startups, established businesses, government institutions, public figures, technology firms, creative professionals and non-profit organisations, helping them enhance their visibility through strategic communications and media engagement.

Beyond media relations, the agency has also focused on promoting personal branding by supporting founders, executives and emerging leaders in building credibility through consistent public engagement.

According to the company, the latest recognition follows a series of milestones, including its recent listing among the Top 12 Best PR Agencies in Abuja, while several national publications have recognised its role in advancing brand visibility and personal branding initiatives.

Spotlight PR said it remains committed to helping organisations communicate effectively, build public trust and strengthen their brand influence as competition for public attention continues to grow in the digital era.

The company described the PR Brand of the Year award as another milestone in its growth and a reflection of its ambition to contribute to the advancement of public relations practice in Nigeria and across Africa.
