WBC Grand Prix Tournament: Adeniji’s victory, a win for Nigerian youths – NBBofC, Balmoral Group

Nigeria’s leading 360° events and venue management company, Balmoral Group in collaboration with Nigerian Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC) and the Ring of Hope Africa recently welcomed rising boxing star Yusuf Adeniji following his his victory at the WBC Grand Prix Tournament.

Yusuf, a professional boxer who hails from Alapere, Lagos and is managed under Balmoral Group has represented Nigeria in international tournaments and currently rising through ranks in the WBC Grand Prix tournament.

The Professional boxer, who won the second phase of the WBC Grand Prix Tournament, has continued to draw international attention for his discipline, strength, and resilience in the ring.
His recent triumph earned and cements his place among the top contenders in the global boxing arena.

The celebration commenced with a solidarity walk through the streets of Alapere where residents, community leaders, fans, and dignitaries came out en masse to celebrate Yusuf’s historic achievement.
The walk culminated at Comprehensive Secondary School, Alapere, where a grand civic reception was held in his honour.

In his remarks, the CEO Balmoral Group said “Yusuf’s journey is a true Nigerian story — one of grit, perseverance, and glory. We are proud to support him as he continues to raise our national flag on the world stage. His victory is a win for every Nigerian youth with a dream.”

Also In attendance were the President – Dr Rafiu Ladipo and Secretary of the NBBofC – Mr. Remi Aboderin, senior officials from Balmoral Group Promotions, community elders, youth leaders, and aspiring boxers from across Lagos.

The celebration also served as a platform to reinforce the mission of the Ring of Hope Africa Initiative, an empowerment campaign aimed at discovering and nurturing young boxing talents across underserved communities in Nigeria.
