The founder UK-based Myrtle Healthcare Ltd, Tamuno Tonte Abban, has been celebrated in faraway Morocco, where she joined other notable African women for the Visionary African Women Summit 2025 in Casablanca.
The event is aimed at uniting and African women from diverse sectors as well as fostering inspiration, empowerment, and nation-building.
With the theme, “Empower Her,” the Summit also equipped participants with a series of mentorship programmes aimed at preparing them for leadership positions.
The convener of the Visionary African Women Summit, Amb. Dr. Chinwe Lilian congratulated participants expressing delight that they utilized the opportunity to develop themselves.
Tonte Tamuno Abban, who was honoured for her exemplary leadership and roles in health care development, also presented a lecture on health for the elderly and those with special needs.
Like other delegates from other countries, she flaunted Nigerian and UK flags at the event. Tonte Tamuno Abban was also given the opportunity to present awards to honoree just as she received an award.
She was truly celebrated for her innovative contributions for raising the bar of excellent healthcare service in fields, which is seemingly difficult for other health care providers.
She is one person who has found a career in supported living and home care in the UK. She is o passionate about Nigeria’s health care development, positioning herself as a dynamic leader in this aspect of caregiving.
With five solid years of experience as a leader in healthcare, she is result-driven and has a proven track record in establishing, growing, and managing successful care businesses.
