The South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA), a non-governmental organization supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has empowered over 1,000 youths and women in Enugu State through a wide range of economic support initiatives.

Items distributed to beneficiaries during the event included a mini bus, motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines, bags of rice, and cash.

Speaking at the empowerment and inauguration ceremony, the National Coordinator of SERHA, Ambassador Belusochukwu M. Enwere, urged the beneficiaries to become worthy ambassadors of the Renewed Hope Agenda and to promote the values of good governance under the current administration.

“SERHA was established to unlock growth opportunities, tackle pressing regional challenges, and sustain the gains of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Hope Agenda,” Enwere stated.

While inaugurating the executive members of the Enugu State chapter of SERHA, Enwere emphasized the importance of unity among South Easterners in driving transformative change.

“It gives me great pleasure to deliver this speech at the inauguration and empowerment event of the Enugu State chapter of SERHA. Today marks a new era of support for President Tinubu in the South East,” he said.

He noted that the event was attended by stakeholders and supporters from across all local government areas and wards in the state, demonstrating the widespread support for the group’s mission.

“We are united in our resolve to build a better future through a people-focused administration. The economic milestones achieved so far in education, health, infrastructure, housing, and power should be recognized and commended,” Enwere added.

He also highlighted the establishment of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), now fully operational and designed to address development gaps and foster regional growth.

Recalling the recent inauguration and empowerment of the Abia State chapter, Enwere said over 1,000 people in that state also benefited from similar support initiatives.

“As we inaugurate and empower the Enugu State chapter today, I encourage all members to remain dedicated and serve as champions of the Renewed Hope Agenda and promoters of good governance,” he concluded.
