LAGOS— Popular youth-focused digital media platform, Zikoko, is set its first-ever personal finance and wealth-building event, tagged The Naira Life Conference, on August 8, 2025.
Zikoko, widely known for its vibrant African youth culture content, is transitioning its popular #NairaLife series from an online feature to a physical gathering, marking a new phase in its financial literacy advocacy.
The event, scheduled to hold at The Jewel Aeida in Lekki, Lagos, is expected to bring together young professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders for robust conversations around money, career growth, and building sustainable wealth.
Speaking on the forthcoming event, Zikoko’s in-house money columnist, Toheeb Lanlehin, said the platform had spent years simplifying complex money conversations for the average Nigerian. He explained that the conference would unite everyone from side hustlers to seasoned investors under one roof to share practical strategies for achieving financial freedom.
The one-day conference will feature four main content tracks focused on different stages of the financial journey. These include personal finance, which will cover budgeting, saving, and daily money decisions; balance sheet, which will address running a business in Nigeria with emphasis on funding and cash flow management; building wealth, which will offer insights on investing in stocks, real estate, crypto, and alternative assets; and career growth, which will explore job search tactics, skill development, and career advancement strategies.
In addition to the main sessions, the conference will host interactive money clinics, hands-on workshops, panel discussions with industry leaders, and structured networking sessions aimed at connecting participants with peers, mentors, and potential investors.
Organisers said the event is open to all Nigerians who are either looking to take control of their finances or scale their professional journey. Zikoko urged interested attendees to save the date, adding that further details on registration and the full speaker lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
