Tunde Ednut, Drew Uyi, Verydarkblackman celebrate Galatasaray cup double with Osimhen

It was a festival of celebrations and brotherly love as celebrity blogger and social media influencer Tunde Ednut, FIFA licensed agent, Drew Uyi and social activist Verydarkblackman flew to Istanbul to celebrate with Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen the cup double triumph achieved by Galatasaray in the 2024-2025 football season.

Highly acclaimed blogger, Tunde Ednut, who recently got his America passport, becoming a citizen of US was seen on the pitch in Istanbul, celebrating the sweet success of Osimhen for Galatasaray, having won the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup in the just concluded season.

Tunde Ednut was not alone on the turf of the stadium as the was joined by Drew Uyi, Verydarkblackman and Femi Ben TV of London, a stellar cast of influential personalities, on hand to celebrate with the former African player of the year winner.

Indeed the quartet of top stars further added glitz, glamour and panache to the electrifying atmosphere inside the Istanbul home ground of Galatasaray, who were propelled o their double cup win by Osimhen goals.

Drew Uyi is sentimental towards the successes of Nigerian footballers—some of whom he has helped built into mega brands—changing the narrative of African athletes being undervalued in contractual situations.

Osimhen created and equally shattered records at Galatasaray in the Super Lig for the 2024/2025 season. The 26-year-old, who spent the campaign on loan in Turkey, guided the Yellow and Red to a historic 25th domestic title. He finished the campaign as the top scorer with 26 goals. The 2023 African footballer of the year also helped the Istanbul giants to their first Turkish Cup title in five years.

Dr Uyi understood success, its essence, support and celebrating African stars—particularly Nigerians. The UK-born Nigerian Sports and Events Management graduate from the London Metropolitan University also holds a post graduate degree in Marketing from the London University of the ART.

Galatasaray held their title celebration in a grand style on May 30th, 2025, at their RAMS Park Stadium. Dr Uyi, alongside the likes of social media personality, Tunde Ednut, were at the arena in Istanbul to watch Osimhen score to seal his place in the history books of Galatasaray, scoring in the final game of the league season against Istanbul Basaksehir and the fans at the jam-parked facility scream the name of the Nigeria international.

Drew Uyi eulogised and celebrated the achievements of the attacker who, over the seasons, has proved himself to be among the most lethal of his contemporaries globally. Osimhen is the highest-scoring foreigner in the 119-year history of Galatasaray. He ended the campaign scoring 36 goals in a single season, thereby surpassing the feat of Brazilian Mario Jardel, who scored 34 times for them during the 2000/2001 campaign. Mauro Icardi and Bafétimbi Gomis share second place with 32 goals each.
