…Commends Him for Equitable Representation of Ijaw, Urhobo, Itsekiri

BURUTU — The lawmaker representing Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi, has been lauded for his fair and inclusive representation of the Ijaw, Urhobo, and Itsekiri ethnic groups in Delta State.
The commendation came from the Traditional Prime Minister of Tuomo Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area, High Chief (Barr.) Mike Loyibo, in a congratulatory message issued in honour of Hon. Ereyitomi’s 60th birthday anniversary celebrated today.
Loyibo described the federal lawmaker as a unifying figure who has consistently promoted peace and harmony among the three major ethnic groups in the Warri Federal Constituency.
“Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi is a representative of the Ijaw, Urhobo, and Itsekiri people who make up the Warri Federal Constituency. He has proven himself to be a true and balanced leader, one the people respect for his impartial approach to governance,” the statement read.
“Sometimes you see him as an Ijaw man, sometimes as an Urhobo man, and other times as an Itsekiri man. He embodies unity and understanding. With him, the Ijaw, Urhobo, and Itsekiri are safe and united. He is the kind of model we need in representative democracy.”
Loyibo further recalled Ereyitomi’s contributions to the successful election of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, noting that he served diligently as Treasurer of the Delta South Caucus during the 2023 gubernatorial campaigns.
He also commended Ereyitomi’s unwavering support for Governor Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E. Agenda and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“On this special occasion of your 60th birthday, I pray that God Almighty blesses you with good health, strength, and wisdom to continue your impactful leadership. Wishing you a joyful and memorable celebration with many more fulfilling years ahead,” he added.
