A new thought-provoking stage play titled Baby Shower is set to captivate Lagos theatre lovers this June.

Written by Minna Davies, the drama explores family dynamics, unspoken truths, and the complexities of teenage pregnancy, all centred around a seemingly joyous baby shower.

Directed by Austine Onuoha and produced by Imoh Eboh, Baby Shower follows the emotional journey of a young girl who becomes pregnant, and the whirlwind that ensues as her sister organizes a celebratory event. What starts as a moment of happiness quickly spirals into an evening of revelations, as long-buried secrets come to light.

The production features a compelling cast including Uche Chika Elumelu, Joy Nmezi, Maryann Ivy, and Imoh Eboh, promising a powerful and emotionally charged performance.

Baby Shower will premiere at the Alliance Française/Mike Adenuga Centre in Ikoyi, Lagos on June 15th, with two showings scheduled for 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM at ₦15,000 per ticket.
