Mrs. Grace Ihonvbere, a prominent Nigerian advocate for women’s leadership and international development, will be honoured in Canada this August for her outstanding contributions to global community empowerment and investment leadership.

The prestigious recognition is scheduled to take place during the Ocean Waves Golf and Investment Tour 2025, holding from July 31 to August 7 in Ontario. The week-long event will bring together global business leaders, investors, and dignitaries for strategic engagements and cultural experiences aimed at fostering economic cooperation.

Mrs. Ihonvbere, a respected member of the Board of Trustees of the IBB International Golf and Country Club and wife of Professor Julius Ihonvbere, the Majority Leader of Nigeria’s Federal House of Representatives, is being celebrated for her sustained efforts in promoting inclusive development, particularly in areas of women’s empowerment and cross-border collaboration.

As part of the official itinerary, Mrs. Ihonvbere will lead a delegation of high-level investors to explore economic opportunities in Brampton, with the aim of deepening partnerships between Canadian communities and African markets.

The tour will also feature leisure and networking highlights including a Niagara Falls expedition, wine-tasting experiences, fine dining sessions, and exclusive access to the vibrant Caribana Festival, one of North America’s largest cultural celebrations.
