Naija Girls in Tech targets digital inclusion for women in new partnership

Naija Girls in Tech, in strategic partnership with APC UK, Tech Innovation and Youth Empowerment Initiative, has expressed readiness to close the gender gap in tech by providing women interested in tech-related careers with access to digital tools, mentorship and growth opportunities necessary to thrive in the digital economy.

NGiT Tech and APC UK said this while announcing the launch of Tech-Volution 2025, a transformative Girls in Tech programme designed to inspire, equip and elevate young women in technology.

According to them, the initiative would kick off with a soft launch on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Speaking about the event, Founder of Naija Girls in Tech Initiative, Olufunmilayo Ogunwo-Adesanya, said: “This is more than a programme—it’s a movement. Tech-Volution 2025 will ignite the power and potential of girls everywhere to lead boldly in the digital era.

“With a vision to empower and amplify African and global female voices in tech, Tech-Volution 2025 will mark a defining step toward digital inclusion, innovation, and leadership. What can participants expect? Hands-on tech training and workshops in cybersecurity, coding, cloud computing, AI, data analytics, and more.

“Inspiring mentorship sessions with accomplished women in STEM and entrepreneurship; networking opportunities and visibility within the global tech ecosystem; access to internships and career pathways with forward-thinking companies.”
