BOMADI — The All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State chapter, has felicitated the lawmaker representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Nicholas Ebomo Mutu, on his birthday anniversary, describing him as a legislative trailblazer, a patriotic leader, and a man of enduring brilliance.

In a goodwill message signed by the state chairman of the party, Elder Omeni Sobotie, and issued by the state secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo Esq., the party celebrated Mutu’s exceptional contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey and national development.

“Rt. Hon. Mutu, who presently represents the good people of Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, is a man of sterling character, legislative brilliance and unwavering dedication to public service,” the statement read.

Highlighting Mutu’s distinction as the longest-serving member of the Green Chamber, the APC lauded his political sagacity, resilience, and the deep trust reposed in him by his constituents and peers over the years.

The statement further commended Mutu’s outstanding leadership as Chairman of the House Committee on the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), a position he held across multiple legislative sessions. Under his leadership, the Committee was noted for advancing accountability and promoting the interests of oil-producing communities.

“His tenure brought enhanced oversight and advocacy that placed the Niger Delta’s development at the centre of national discourse,” the party stated.

Beyond his legislative accomplishments, the Delta APC hailed Mutu’s philanthropic contributions, recalling his early days as chairman of Bomadi Local Government and his enduring commitment to grassroots development.

“Mutu has consistently empowered thousands through scholarship schemes, job creation programmes, youth and women empowerment drives, health missions, and infrastructural interventions,” the party said, describing his political style as “people-focused, impact-driven, and anchored on humility and service.”

Elder Sobotie, on behalf of the party, prayed for continued divine guidance, good health, and strength for Hon. Mutu, adding that his legacy of integrity and public service remains a shining example for future generations.
