2027: Okotete drums support for Tinubu, Oborevwori’s re-election

Former National Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC and Executive Director (Business Development), Nexim Bank, Stella Okotete, has called for support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s re-election come 2027.
Okotete made the call when she hosted leaders and stakeholders of APC in wards one and two of Agbarho, Ughelli North local government area of Delta State to a unity meeting.

The meeting was called to formally receive and welcome the new members that recently moved with the Delta State Governor to the APC.
Okotete in a separate meeting with the leaders and stakeholders of APC at the party’s office, Agbarho town, thanked the APC faithfuls for their steadfastness and commitment, appealing to them to be patient as more empowerment is coming to those who have not benefited, stating that the coming of Gov. Oborevwori will boost the chances and prosperity of the party in Delta State. 
Okotete, who also visited the palace of the Osuivie of Agbarho to pay homage to the royal father, took a walk with the royal majesty through the ever-busy Agbarho market amidst cheers and pleasantries from the market women, who were chanting; “the Lioness!, Woman King” and so on, received prayers from the royal father, thanked her for her role in ensuring that he was given the Staff of Office and for renovating part of the palace.

Meanwhile, the unity meeting held at Ekrerhavwen witnessed a huge turnout, with gathering of the old PDP members and the old APC members now being integrated into one.
Addressing the crowd, Okotete warned members of the party not to nurse the animosity of the past. She urged them to see themselves as one without discrimination. She called for forgiveness of one another over the friction of the last election.

Turn by turn, leaders and stakeholders bared their minds and resolved to work together under the leadership of Stella Okotete.
Okotete then moved a motion to pass a vote of confidence in President Tinubu and Gov. Oborevwori, which was unanimously supported with a voice vote.
The women from both sides came together to sing and dance while eulogizing the Lioness. Okotete  doles out cash gifts to deserving party faithfuls, who ensured that the APC won in the two wards of Agbarho in the last election. No fewer than 50 women benefited from this gesture.
Okotete later in the day joined other leaders of the APC in Olorogun John Oguma’s house. It was a meeting of the leaders of the party from Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu federal constituency.

The meeting was attended by Sen. Ede Dafinone, Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive and all the three local government council chairmen. The gathering resolved to work together to ensure that APC delivers President Tinubu and all other candidates of the party in the next election.
