As part of the celebrations marking Senator Jim Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo’s 85th birthday on Friday, Dr. Jerry Patrick Onuokaibe, CEO of First Choice Afro Villa Ltd and Mburubu Construction Company Ltd, hailed the former Governor of old Anambra State as a symbol of leadership, vision, and enduring relevance.

In his goodwill message, Dr. Onuokaibe described Nwobodo’s life and political career as a blueprint for purposeful governance and impactful service, particularly in Enugu, Anambra, and the broader Igbo community. He praised Nwobodo for laying the political foundation of the South-East, highlighting his commitment to equity, inclusion, and responsible governance.

Dr. Onuokaibe emphasized that Nwobodo’s legacy transcends generations, attributing this to his clarity of purpose, sincerity, and consistency in both public and private life.

“Your Excellency, the lessons from your life go beyond politics; they are lessons in humanity, wisdom, and resilience. May your years ahead be filled with peace, strength, and the joy of knowing your light still burns brightly in our hearts,” Onuokaibe said.

As a businessman, community development advocate, and Traditional Ọzọ titleholder, Dr. Onuokaibe noted that he draws inspiration from Nwobodo’s legacy, describing him as “a compass for those who seek to make meaningful impact in society.”

He concluded by praying for God’s continued protection and grace upon the elder statesman and urged younger leaders to emulate the values of service, humility, and excellence that have defined Senator Nwobodo’s journey.
