The Lagos State Government has announced the postponement of the 2025 Public Service Examinations, initially slated for Tuesday, May 13, 2025, to Friday, May 23, 2025.
The Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, disclosed in a statement on Monday that the decision was made to safeguard the integrity of the examination process and ensure fairness for all candidates.
“The decision was taken to ensure the integrity of the examination process and guarantee a fair experience for all candidates,” Orunsolu stated.
The announcement was made public through the state government’s official X account on Monday evening, sparking immediate reactions and extending the preparation window for civil service candidates across the state.
Orunsolu also noted that the new date for specific papers would be communicated soon through official channels. He urged candidates to stay vigilant and frequently visit the Lagos State Examinations Board portal at examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng for real-time updates.
“Candidates are reminded to retain their registration details and print their examination slips before the announcement of the new dates,” he added.
The Board Director expressed appreciation for the patience and cooperation of all stakeholders, assuring that the Public Service Examinations would be conducted in a credible, transparent, and efficient manner.
