ABUJA: Ahead of its June 25, 2025 primary election for Area Council seats in the Federal Capital Territory FCT, the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has pegged its chairmanship forms at N20 million while Councillorship forms go for N2.5 million.

National Organizing Secretary of the party, Sulaiman Argungu in a statement on Tuesday said female aspirants and persons with disabilities aspirants are to purchase the Expression of Interest forms – pegged at N5 million and N500,000 for Chairmanship and Councillorship respectively – while the Nominations Forms -pegged at N15 million and N2 million for Chairmanship and Councillorship respectively – would be free for them.

Also, youths between the ages of 25 to 40 are to purchase the Expression of Interest Forms while they will get a 50 percent discount on the Nomination Forms.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had in January this year announced February 21 next year for the conduct of area council elections in the FCT.
