Senator Ken Eze, representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District and Chair of the Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation, has awarded university scholarships to the children of two late All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains in Amudo, Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The beneficiaries of the scholarship awards are Miss Chiderah Easter Okeh and Master Chinonso Henry Nwankwo. During the visit, Senator Eze described death as an inevitable part of life and urged the bereaved families to find comfort in the legacies left behind by their loved ones. He assured the children that APC remains a united family and encouraged them to seek his support whenever necessary.
In addition to the scholarships, the senator made cash donations to the families and pledged continued assistance in recognition of the contributions their parents made toward the development of society and the progress of APC in Ezza South and Ebonyi State.
Senator Eze was accompanied by Ezza South APC Chairman, Barr. Chukwuemeka Uwa, the Coordinator of Ezza South East Development Center, Hon. Uchenna Chita, and other APC stakeholders.
The senator also extended his condolence visit to the family of the late Hon. Ikechukwu Ukpabi (Ezeke), a committed APC member in Onueke Urban Ward of Ezza South LGA.
