A group known as Project Niger Delta, PND, has apologized to High chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo AKA Tompolo, and the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, Dr Dennis Otuaro, over the group attacks on the duo.

The Executive Director and Coordinator of PND, Comrade Princewill Timipre Ebebi, in a statement in Yenagoa , said after investigations he has realized that the information given to him was not correct.

He said: “I am writing this letter to offer my sincerest apologies for being used against you and that was simply because I wasn’t given the right information about you and your kinsmen. But for now, I have carried out detailed investigations about you and your kinsmen, I understand the inconveniences and disappointment this may have caused you and team of kinsmen.

“I take full responsibility for my actions and assure you that this situation does not reflect my usual standard of works in the Niger Delta’s Emancipation struggle for our collective prosperity 

“I have taken immediate steps to rectify the issue, including written actions to withdraw the effect of my words in the public domain, I am extending my leadership consultation with various stakeholders to complete this task by given you and kinsmen the needed support henceforth, communicating with relevant parties to resolve any issues forthwith. 

“Please know that I am committed to ensuring that such errors do not occur in the future of our collective existence. I have implemented additional measures to improve my time, relationship management and communication skills towards the Niger Delta discourse, and I am actively seeking opportunities to further develop in these key areas.

“Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time of our chemistry. If you have any further questions or concerns including any task to entrust me with, please do not hesitate to contact me. I stand on this promised.”
