Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State remains committed to tackling insecurity and fostering peace and unity within the state, Rt. Honorable Ado Dogo Audu, Counselor for Political Affairs to the Governor, has said.
Hon. Dogo Audu made this known during a meeting with General Christopher Musa Gwabin, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), where they discussed national security concerns, as well as specific challenges affecting Kaduna State and the Kaduna South Senatorial District.
A seasoned lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Ado Audu served three terms in the House of Representatives (1999–2011) representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency. During his tenure, he chaired the House Committee on the Army and played a pivotal role in facilitating peace dialogues between farmers and herders in Godogodo Chiefdom. His peace efforts also extended voluntarily to Jema’a Local Government Area and parts of Southern Kaduna.
Leveraging his extensive experience in security matters, Hon. Dogo shared valuable insights with the CDS and reaffirmed his commitment to continued collaboration and support for security initiatives in Kaduna State.
He assured that Governor Uba Sani is unwavering in his resolve to combat insecurity and promote unity across the state.
Dogo also commended various stakeholders for their ongoing cooperation with the administration in its quest to establish lasting peace in Kaduna State.
