Lifting faith is one thing every man of God holds in high esteem, winning souls is another. Under this premise hinged the quest to carry the mantle beyond podium preaching, to lifting souls through music done by Apostle Kenneth Chinonso Amobi, (aka: Jesus Ambassador), the General Overseer of the Everfaithful God Deliverance Ministry, in Ikotun, Lagos State.
Apostle Amobi, a renowned preacher recently launched his debut album titled; “Jesus Emewo Ya” translated to ‘God has done it,’ an audio CD album with inspiring and soul lifting songs. The album launch gathered gospel music lovers and Christian faithful who thronged the launch venue to support the work of God and the propagation of gospel through songs.
According to him, the inspiration for the songs came through everyday experience and encounter with situations. “Inspiration came as a grace of God. It is never by my power, but by the grace that God gave to me,” remarked Apostle Amobi.
Speaking further, he said: ” Anytime I had an encounter with God, it ends in praises and new song comes to me. It is not a matter of me sitting down to compose and write a song. It usually comes by revelations and divine arrangements,” he said.
Apostle Amobi also noted that whenever he meets a challenging situation, it will always ends in worship and praises, adding that today’s album launch is a testimony of worship and praises that happened over time.
“What I am doing today is part of God’s assignment. In a situation like this, we use it to minister to people, showing them that God lives and is capable to do things. Singing, to the glory of God, is to let people know that you can worship and communicate with God no matter any situation or circumstances through prayers and praises, and at the same time spread the good news,” he said.
Apostle Amobi said that music has been part of his ministrations from the onset of his journey into gospel preaching and cannot stop as the debut album is a beginning of many to come, noting that another album is expected before December, 2025. He said he is using his songs as a mediating succour to many challenges that the Nigeria is facing now.
“What Nigeria is facing currently needs God’s intervention and mercies. If God has rescued many nations before, Nigeria’s own would not be different. When we give God worship and praises, he will answer us. He knows what to do,” added Apostle Amobi.
The launch held at Ikotun, Igando attracted Christian faithful, friends and associates including family and church members of Apostle Amobi’s Ever Faithful God Deliverance Ministry. The excited audience were thrilled to some of the tracks by Apostle Amobi who also expressed his confidence in using the song to win souls for Christ.

These personalities all lend their support to the new gospel songs encouraging him to do more for the kingdom beyond podium preaching.
For Obileri Johnson Okechukwu, he said, “Anybody that sings, preaches twice.” He noted that preaching and singing as was done by Apostle Amobi goes together in enhancing evangelism and bringing people to the fold of Christ.
