Rugby School, one of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions, is proud to announce the launch of its sister school, Rugby School Nigeria, in the heart of Lagos.
The exclusive launch event, held at the British Deputy High Commissioner’s residence in Lagos, brought together over 100 distinguished guests from the education, government, business, and diplomatic communities.
According to the British Deputy High Commissioner, Mr Jonny Baxter, “Rugby School Nigeria exemplifies one of the best of UK-Nigeria collaboration, bringing another world-class British education institution to the heart of Lagos.”
Founding Principal, Dr. Adam England, expressed his enthusiasm, stating that Rugby School Nigeria, will offer an exceptional education that nurtures both intellectual growth and character development.
Building on the school’s 458-year legacy of academic excellence and holistic education, Rugby School Nigeria, he added, will offer a world-class education to students in West Africa.
Rugby School Nigeria will initially open its doors to Sixth Form students in September 2025, with boarding facilities available from September 2026.
The Senior School will launch in September 2026, offering a broad and engaging curriculum that prepares students for IGCSEs and future academic success, he further stated.
