Kwara Rep, Adamu Saba pushes proposed Federal College of Education (Technical)Bill to 2nd Reading in National Assembly

In order to enhance education development and create opportunities in his constituency, and Kwara state in general, Dr. Ahmed Adamu Saba representing Edu/Moro/Patigi federal constituency, has sponsored a Bill, which has passed a second reading on the proposed creation of Federal College of Education (Technical)in Lafiagi, Edu local government area of the state.

Special Assistant on Digital Media to the lawmaker, Hon Liman Hamidu Bello in a statement made available to Vanguard Correspondent in Ilorin noted that the development would enhance educational opportunities in Kwara state

The proposed Federal College of Education (Technical) in Lafiagi, Edu LGA, Kwara State, is an exciting development that promises to boost education in the region, Bello said.

” Sponsored by Hon. Dr. Ahmed Adamu Saba representing Edu/Moro/Patigi federal constituency, this federal institution will complement the existing Kwara State College of Education (Technical), Lafiagi, which has been offering various courses since its establishment in 1991.”the statement stressed.

It added that,”the establishment of a Federal College of Education (Technical), Lafiagi, is expected to bring in additional resources and opportunities to the area, contributing to the growth and development of education in Kwara State.

“This is great news for the people of Lafiagi and the surrounding areas, as it will provide more access to quality education and training.”the statement concluded.
