Andrew Onoja, a Lead consultant at Ideal Real Estate Consulting, has explained how Abuja’s real estate landscape witnessed a significant shift during a powerful two-day seminar.
The seminar themed “The ultimate guide to real estate investing”, was held on February 27th and 28th.
The organisation, Ideal Real Estate Consulting, also launched its comprehensive suite of services.
Onoja declared the event a resounding success, stating, “We aimed to not just educate, but to truly impact the industry by empowering investors with the tools to navigate the complex Abuja market.”
The seminar directly addressed the pervasive issue of land fraud, a plague that has left many investors in Abuja reeling from financial losses.
Onoja, whose 2022 guide, “Don’t Be The Next Land Victim”, highlighted the scale of the problem and offered a more in-depth solution.
“The sheer volume of distressed calls I received from scammed investors was a stark reminder of the urgent need for comprehensive education and preventative measures,” he explained.
The first day of the seminar focused on laying the foundational principles of successful real estate investment.
Onoja shared his expertise by revealing five high-ROI strategies, captivating the audience and providing a clear pathway to profitability.
“We didn’t shy away from the challenging aspects,” Onoja emphasized. “We tackled the issues many investors overlook, ensuring they were equipped to make informed decisions.”
The second day delved into the crucial area of due diligence, a cornerstone of safe and secure real estate transactions.
Onoja meticulously outlined the steps investors must take to verify property authenticity, providing a checklist of essential documents and detailing the land offices to visit.
He stressed the importance of obtaining these documents immediately upon purchase from a developer, a critical safeguard against fraud.
“Due diligence is not an option; it’s a necessity,” Onoja stated, highlighting the seminar’s practical approach.
Our goal is to provide a holistic approach to real estate investment, from foundational knowledge to advanced strategies and fraud prevention.
“We believe this seminar and our new services will significantly impact the industry by fostering a more transparent and secure market,” Onoja concluded.
