SO TechAfrica partners Housing Ministry, ARCON to train architects on smart home

SO TechAfrica Ltd. has joined forces with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) to launch a four-day training programme focused on smart home automation for architects.

Chief Executive Officer of SO TechAfrica Ltd., Engr. Seton Senu, disclosed this during a press briefing in Lagos.

According to him, the initiative is designed to equip architects with the skills needed to design, implement, and manage smart home systems, paving the way for the future of architectural design.

“The programme offers a comprehensive introduction to smart home solutions, covering essential topics such as design fundamentals, automation implementation, and strategies for business growth.

“In addition, participants will benefit from sessions aimed at enhancing professional expertise and gaining certification,” he said.

He added that the training, scheduled to take place from March 31 to April 3, will be held at the School of Architectural Technician, Block 10A, Adura Falaja Street, Kuje, Abuja.

Highlighting the value of the programme, ARCON President, Arc. Dipo Ajayi, stating that it would unlock new career opportunities through updated industry insights and seminars.

Arc. Mohammed Sule, ARCON Registrar, urged members to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the training.

Also speaking, Arc. Akinola Abiola, Centre Coordinator, advised those encountering difficulties with registration to contact the Centre for support via 0802 330 5282.

However, he noted that further details on participation and registration will be announced soon.
