A hunter has died during a sting operation conducted to rescue some kidnapped victims by the combined efforts of Oyo State Security Network codenamed Amotekun, Policemen and local hunters.

The hunter who was identified as Ojo reportedly lost his life when he was attacked by the kidnappers at Alagbede Village in Akinyele Local Government area of Oyo State.

Vanguard further gathered that the village of the abducted victims was invaded by the kidnappers around 1am when a community leader, Baale Alagbede, his wife and a son were whisked away by the bandits.

But, one of the hunters was killed in the process.
