The traditional ruler of Onicha Ugbo, HRM Obi Victor Chukwumaleze, has dismissed a publication that claimed he banned Mr. Francis Iwedike Osedume from contesting the Youths Council elections.

Obi Victor Chukwumaleze described the publication as malicious, fake, and an attempt to tarnish his reputation.

According to the monarch, Mr. Francis Iwedike Osedume is a law-abiding citizen and a son of the community with no history of violent activities.

He commended Francis’s advocacy for good governance and his concerns for a better environment, calling them “very encouraging.”

“It’s worth noting that a Seven-Man electoral committee has been set up to ensure a peaceful transition to a democratically elected executive, addressing concerns raised by the youths about the expiration of Mr. Franklin Ike Okoh’s administration”.
