Nollywood actress Motola Odunsi, popularly known as Motola the Actor, has shared insights into her journey in the film industry, highlighting her perseverance and love for her craft.

Speaking in an interview with Potpourri, she reflected on her career, stating, “I joined the industry fully in 2018, and since then, all I can say is that God has been faithful. Despite all the challenges, I am still here standing.”

Motola emphasized the qualities required to succeed as an actress in the Nigerian entertainment industry. “To make it as an actress here, you have to be patient, committed to the craft, steadfast, and focused. On this journey, you will face a lot of hurdles. As a woman, you’ll encounter even more challenges, but when you stand for what you know is true, in the long run, you will make it,” she said.

The actress also expressed her appreciation for her unique physical attributes, which have become an asset in her career. “I love and enjoy my stature, It’s a blessing. I love the way some producers and directors embrace it. With my stature, I can pass for a university student, play the role of Gen Z, or even a housewife. I love my stature because there is no role I cannot play with it,” she explained.

Despite her dedication to her career, Motola admitted that finding time for personal relationships can be challenging. “At times, one might not even have time for oneself, let alone for a relationship. But the best thing is to prioritize whatever one is entangled with. I am still single, and I believe God will do it in His own time,” she said.
