The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area, Delta State, Hon. Rawlings Dagidi Andaye, Wednesday hosted an event honoring retired service chiefs, elder statesmen, and other distinguished personalities of Bomadi origin for their meritorious service to the nation.

The gathering, held at the council secretariat in Bomadi, brought together sons and daughters of Bomadi from across the country, who were recognized by the Andaye-led administration for their commitment to national service.

Expressing heartfelt appreciation, Hon. Andaye called on these eminent leaders to join his administration’s development efforts, acknowledging their invaluable expertise and experience. “As one of the oldest local governments in Delta State, we look to your wealth of experience to shape the future of our communities and rewrite the narrative that has long affected our council,” he said.

He encouraged them to engage in political processes, mentor emerging leaders, and spearhead community development initiatives to foster growth and progress in Bomadi.

To formalize this collaboration, Hon. Andaye proposed the creation of the “Bomadi Local Government Security and Advisory Council” (BOLGSAC), designed to address pressing issues such as insecurity and economic challenges. The inaugural BOLGSAC members include:
