Nigerian artist Owueka Odili Henry, known as Henrykvsh, is gearing up to release his highly anticipated EP, Know Where, on November 1st.
This body of work promises to take listeners on an immersive journey through Afrobeat and Afrotrap, a genre Henrykvsh dubs “Afrotrapkin.” The EP blends traditional Afrobeat rhythms with modern, vibrant beats, offering fans a fresh and dynamic sound.
The EP opens with “Carry Me,” a reflective track that sets the tone for the project. Henrykvsh’s smooth vocals and evocative lyrics, accompanied by rich instrumentation, create a vibe that feels both intimate and far-reaching. This is followed by the celebratory track “Omo Aye,” which invites listeners to embrace life and their roots, while looking towards the future.

The EP wraps up with the tracks “Badddie,” “Azaman Clear Version,” and “Logo,” leaving listeners on a high note with upbeat tempos and lively instrumentation.
Rooted in Henrykvsh’s personal experiences, Know Where draws inspiration from his upbringing in Ukwani L.G.A, Delta State, and Auchi, Edo State. The EP reflects his journey of self-discovery, exploring themes of love, resilience, and celebration, while highlighting his versatility as an artist. His innovative fusion of genres creates a sound that is both unique and deeply relatable.
