A ground-breaking partnership contract has been signed between Act Sports Di Oyibo Limited and Torino FC of Italy for the purpose of advancing football development in Nigeria and Ghana.

The deal, recently signed by Gianluca Cabella and Pastor Samuel R Oyibo on behalf of Torino FC and Act Sports Di Oyibo Limited respectively, is to cover for the training of coaches, development of young football talents as well as the establishment of a football academy for the entire duration of the contract.

The partnership gives Act Sports the latitude to initiate developmental strategies to enhance the growth of the game in both countries — with it’s recent collaboration with the Delta State Football Association (DFA) in a consulting capacity serving as a unique take-off point.

“Act Sports Di Oyibo Limited works in partnership with the Delta State Football Association (DFA), to provide technical support, training of players, coaches and the establishment of a football academy, leveraging on our collaboration with Torino FC”.

The agreement, endorsed by Torino FC President, Cav. Lav. Dr. Urbano R. Cairo, and signed with Act Sports Di Oyibo Limited, is set to revolutionize the region’s football landscape. The initiative includes comprehensive training programmes for coaches and young footballers, ensuring the transfer of elite-level knowledge and methodology from one of Italy’s most prestigious football academies.

Torino Football Academy, renowned for its robust youth development programmes, will spearhead the technical assistance needed to elevate the skills of local coaches in Nigeria and Ghana.

According to Pastor Samuel R Oyibo, the CEO/Director of Act Sports, the DFA’s decision to partner with his company as a representative of Torino FC in Nigeria, is a smart move that has the potential to shoot the state’s football to a whole new orbit, since it aligns with it’s broader efforts to nurture talent and foster long-term football development at the grassroots level.

“This partnership represents a significant milestone for Delta State football. The affiliation with Torino FC through my company, Act Sports Di Oyibo Limited, will provide access to world-class expertise and resources, accelerating our mission to establish a strong football academy in Delta State,” Pastor Oyibo said after the recent endorsement.

The collaboration is expected to yield significant benefits, including the establishment of state-of-the-art football facilities in Delta State, as well as creating opportunities for local coaches to learn from top professionals in Italy.

The academy will serve as a breeding ground for young football talents, offering them a platform to develop their skills and pursue professional football careers.

Director Gianluca Cabella of Torino Academy has also commended the move as it officially kick-starts, the Italian club’s technical support programmes with the DFA through it’s official partner, Act Sports Di Oyibo Limited in the West African sub-region.

“Torino FC is proud to extend its expertise beyond Italy’s borders, contributing to the development of football worldwide.

We are confident that this collaboration will bring about positive outcomes for both Torino FC , Act Sports Di Oyibo Ltd and Delta State.”

This partnership underlines the growing influence of international collaborations in elevating the standards of football training and youth development globally.
